Jonathan - Bristol tutor
Information About Jonathan:
Personal Description:
I am a graduate Geologist, studying for an MSc in the Science of Natural Hazards. I have a strong Physics/Chemistry background as well as all aspects of physical geography. With A-levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geography, I have a well rounded approach.
I believe that to do well at a subject, it is not just about passing exams. I think that the secret is to be interested, excited, and stimulated to learn.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught under-graduates Physics/Earth Science at degree level, and I have also given presentations in schools. I have tutored in Geology and Chemistry, and some Physics.
Tutoring Approach:
Tutoring is about helping to develop someone with their learning. I believe that the best way to learn is to be interested in the subject area. Going out with the aim of just passing exams is not the key...
Success will come through not just hard work, but by excitement, discovery and enjoyment.
