Personal Description:
A Professional Teacher with twelve years experience of teaching; qualified to teach Mathematics (14+).
Holds Qualified Teacher Status in Life Long Learning Sector and Full Membership with Institute for Learning.
Successfullly achieved Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Level 4 qualifications in Numeracy and Literacy and Bachelor in Sciences ( Zoology, Botany and Chemistry).
Teaching is my passion and the success of students gives me an internal satisfaction. I am computer literate ( MICT). I feel that my skills and experience of teaching for more than twelve years would certainly benefit the students; helping them progress and achieve good grades.
Teaching Experience:
Acquires twelve years enjoyable experience in teaching different subjects (e.g. English, Maths and Science) to ages five to adults.
Experienced in working with Primary/ Secondary Schools and Colleges.
Provided Maths, English and Science tuition to many learners. Many of my learners achieved grades B, A or A*.
Currently, I would like to teach Maths or Science to GCSE or A level students in Leicester area.
Tutoring Approach:
I feel that the learner should enjoy the lesson. There needs to be a good rapport between the learner and the tutor at all times. Professional approach, use of appropriate resources and teaching methods is the key to the success.
