Personal Description:
My name is William. I love travel, languages, music and good conversation. I studied French and Geography in Aberdeen, Scotland and then I did my PGCE teacher training there too. In 2001 I completed my RSA/CELTA TEFL qualification allowing me to teach English to children and adults.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 8 years.
M.A Joint Honours Degree in French and Geography PGCE French (Teacher Training)
RSA CELTA Grade B (Teacher Training)
I have taught GCSE, A Level, Common Entrance, IB, MYP, Standard Grade and Higher French.
I have prepared English students for PET, KET and First Certificate Cambridge Exams.
Tutoring Approach:
I have worked with students from Russia, China, Japan, Colombia, Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Belgium, Germany, Greece and Thailand. My teaching approach involves humour, repetition, role-play and help with intonation and pronunciation. As a language learner myself, I can guide you through the process of language acquisition whatever your linguistic needs may be. Progress is guaranteed.
