Personal Description:
I have recently graduated from Exeter University with a First Class Mathematics Bsc Degree. I work part time at a bank and enjoy tutoring on evenings and weekends. Outside work and tutoring I spend much of my time watching football, playing golf and tennis and playing/listening to music.
Teaching Experience:
Throughout University I helped many of my peers with their studies especially those reading mathematics, but also those doing the sciences and engineering much of which is mathematical.
I am currently tutoring a range of pupils from younger students for SATs through to University students.
Tutoring Approach:
I really enjoy explaining methods to tutees so they are not only able to find the correct answer but also are able to explain how and why they got that answer. I feel this builds a greater overall understanding making it easier for the student to progress with the subject in the future and apply similar methods within other subject areas. I do this through an excellent understanding of mathematics and clear, concise explanations of solutions and methods.
