Information About Annie:
Personal Description:
I am currently and Undergraduate studying for my BA at the University of Cambridge. Tutors can be scary sometimes (from what I can remember) but don't worry I am very friendly and easily approachable! Having just recently completely my own General and Higher Education, I can easily relate to what the students are going through and will be able to share sometimes tips that helped me get through my exams.
Teaching Experience:
Previously I have worked as a Summer School teaching assistant, helping children between the ages of 9 to 13 with Physics. I have also volunteered with local inner city schools as a classroom assistant, helping children learning english as a second language with literacy and numeracy.
But my most valuable experience is having recently gone through the same pain and torment studying for exams as many of the students who are currently studying for their GCSEs and A-levels have.
Tutoring Approach:
I am a firm believer in understanding your material and enjoying what you are learning. However I understand it can be frustrating sometimes when you are trying to pass and exam, that you just don't have enough time to understand and learn everything. My aim is to introduce some of the techniques I learnt from sitting exams and also reinforcing all the facts and checkboxes you need to know.
