Personal Description:

I also have a BSc and PgD in Computer Science (and am on last leg of an MSc). I am also an MBCS (Member, British Computer Society).

Teaching Experience:

Limited amount. However...
* I have done a lot of mentoring
* I devised and presented a 3-day IT training course for a company
* I currently work for a university (in an admin role.), and am heavily involved in elearning, VLEs, blended learning etc.
* I have done a small amount of part-time tutoring
* I have visited a couple of local schools and helped out in computer classes

Tutoring Approach:

Varies to some extent, depending on the individual student's learning needs, learning style(s), personal circumstances and preferences. However, I am a great believer in structured and blended learning and the 'learning by doing' approach.
