I am a friendly and motivated person who has a passion for education and a desire to teach. I have excellent ICT, literacy and numeracy skills, I can speak fluent English, Urdu and Punjabi. My goal is to be a primary teacher, therefore I will be studying a B Ed in Primary education at Roehampton university in September 2008, specialising in ICT. I would be interested in General Primary tutoring in particular in the areas of Maths and ICT.

Teaching Experience:

I have done voluntary work in a primary school for two weeks to gain experience of teaching.
I am currently working in a secondary school as a teachers assistant in the ICT department. I have been working in this school for six months and hope to continue working here until I start teacher training. My role includes doing admin work such as printing, photocopying, laminating, writing letters to parents etc. Assisting the ICT teachers with the class and supervising a lunch time club where the year 7s to 11s use the computers.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe I am a flexiible person who is capable of adjusting my tutoring style to an individual pupil. I am willing to use whatever teaching/revision or tutoring materials are recommended by the pupils primary school. I also have available some primary Maths and ICTtextbooks which I will use as source material for tutoring if there is nothing recommended. I am willing to tutor any child at Primary school level.
