Information About Muhammad:


Personal Description:

I am 30 with 5 years experience in Civil and Structural Engineering. I have at least degree level knowledge of mathematics and a very strong command of computer packages. My main occupation involves working for a global engineering company.

Tuition is something i really enjoy doing as a part time undertaking. I gain a lot of job satisfaction from the positive impact i am able to have on the lives of students.



Teaching Experience:

I have worked with students from the ages of 5 through to 18 and was working for Bradford University on their JUICT course in which my pupils had a 95% pass rate. I have taught Mathematics, English and IT subjects.



Tutoring Approach:

My first step is to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the pupil and then to draw up an action plan to ensure a high standard of competency in all areas. Pupils are thoroughly briefed with clear and concise examples to guide them. All areas of weakness are tackled until the highest standards are met. Style and method of teaching is adapted in accordance with the age and ability of the student. Parental input is encouraged and taken onboard.

There are 4 main steps;
1. Tackle those areas that the pupil requires further support in. Practice examples followed by test examples and then homework to be completed by next session.

2. Test all other areas even if pupils feels they are confident in them to ensure there are no problems there.

3. Broaden the students awareness and understanding with more advanced level problems as good preparation for future studies.
