Information About Sally:
Personal Description:
I am a student living in the cardiff area. I am studying for a chemistry degree at cardiff university. I got excellent grades in my A level results, an A in chemistry an A in geography ( I got 100% in 2 of my exams) i also have a C in maths and a C in AS physics and an A in geology at AS. When I have finished my degree I am aiming to do my PGCE and become a teacher.
Teaching Experience:
I don't have much teaching experience but I have tutored people on my courses before as well as friends and family. I have a real passion for studying and academia and would like to be given the opertunity to pass on my knowledge to others.
Tutoring Approach:
I think it is important to talk to the tutee about the parts of the subject that they are unclear on as well as breifly touching upon the parts they are more happy about. I would then go through some worked examples with the tutee and then when they feel confident let them try doing practise questions on their own. I also think that discusion is an important part of teaching annd would talk about the different areas of the subject with my tutee.
