Information About David:

Personal Description:

I am currently a first year student a Bristol University studying computer science. I am IT literate and fluent with various software packages including; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Windows XP, Vista and 7.

I am a highly motivated Grammar School student currently in my last year of studies, taking a double A Level in Maths(Maths and Further Maths), Physics and Computing all predicted grade A. I received an A* grade at GCSE in both Mathematics and Physics, for my other GCSE subjects I received 4 A's and 5 B's. At A-Level I recieved an A in Maths,B in Physics and Computing, and C in Further Maths .I was ranked fifth in my year and this year I will be studying computer science at one of the countries top universities. I am also a scout and have previous experience with teaching new skills to younger children. For Physics I teach up to GCSE and Maths up to A Level (specialising in the core modules).

I have a CRB check through my scout group and I can give references from my school and scout group on request.

Prices can be negotiated if tutoring more than one person per session.

Teaching Experience:

I use to teach Maths and Science two hours a week to a year nine student, and as an older scout I have taught many skills to younger scouts such as knots, cooking, camping etc.

Tutoring Approach:

I use the subject's specification from the exam board, to ensure that every topic has been covered and that the tutee is fully prepared for the exam. Once all content has been taught I encourage the tutees to take past papers as the examiners like to ask.
