Personal Description:
I'm currently completing a PhD in chemistry and have spent the past three years teaching and demonstrating to undergraduate students. I'm friendly and approachable and find it easy to break down and communicate difficult ideas to students.
Teaching Experience:
For the past three years I have taught and assessed university undergraduates in chemistry and biochemistry.
Tutoring Approach:
I think that the best way to help students come to grips with the ideas and concepts which challenge them is to break the problem down and ensure that they understand the basics before building back up. I hope that my enthusiasm for the sciences will show students how useful and interesting these subjects are. I am happy to work with students on particular examples from their lessons and text books and can help to plan and prepare for examinations using past papers and marking schemes.

- PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry - currently completing
- Masters in Chemistry (MChem) 2:1, University of Edinburgh
- A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics with statistics, General Studies - all grade A
- GCSEs at grade A* in maths, chemistry, biology, physics
