Personal Description:
I am a physics with science teacher. Being a modern teacher I enjoy employing new learning strategies, interacting with students and fellow teachers as well as seeing positive results.
Teaching Experience:
Currently teaching at an Aberdeenshire academy school, I teach general science to standard grade level and physics to higher grade level.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring depends on the tutee. May it be brushing up on exam type questions, filling in gaps in knowledge or starting from scratch, I have the knowledge and skills to make employing a tutor worthwhile. It is my belief that both the tutor and tutee have a responsibility to obtain maximum results from tutoring sessions. This can be achieved by having a definite structure to tutoring sessions and by being open about what steps need to be taken to improve results.
