Personal Description:
I am 30 years old and an extremely hard working individual. I have been tutoring for 5 years and have always gained excellent results. In the last 2 years all 4 clients have achieved full 'A' passes at Higher History.
Teaching Experience:
I have 8 years teaching experience which includes working in both glasgow and north lanarkshire. I am very familar with the standard grade course and have 8 years experience of teaching Higher and Int 2 History with very good results. For the past two years I have marked Higher History Paper I for the SQA and use that knowledge to help your child in their studies.
Tutoring Approach:
I tutor in either the persons house or in a public area, ie coffee shop or library. During sessions i will go over the key points of a topic, i bring resources for the student to work through and give regular homework pieces. I am able to bring not only the knowledge of the subject but more improtantly the knowledge of the arrangements of the course. I know how each essay is marked and can give pupils the information from markers feedback in order to improve the quality of work. I have been tutoring for a number of years and again have had good results.
