Information About Ashley:
Personal Description:
I am a recent graduate from the University of Manchester currently tutoring part-time and working for a Church in south Manchester.
Teaching Experience:
I don't have a great deal of formal teaching experience but my time at University has prepared me well for being able to present scientific ideas and explain them to my peers and supervisors.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to tailor my tuition to students individual learning style and present ideas and concepts in a way that is easiest for them to grasp. I will provide through insight into the subject material often going slightly further than the syllabus requires just to ensure that the student has a proper and full understanding. With this in mind, the focus is always on exam success and I have looked into past papers and marking schemes to see the common exam questions that appear and how best to tackle them.
Above all I believe that science is to be enjoyed, and I try to bring that across in all of my lessons!
