Personal Description:
My degrees are BSc and MSc in chemistry from University of Belgrade and PGCE from the University of Bath.
Before tutoring, I taught science and chemistry at secondary and at university levels. Apart from teaching, I have been marking A-level papers for OCR board.
At the beginning of my career as a chemist I worked in research and I have wide experience of practical chemistry which is useful when discussing chemistry practicals with my students.

Tutoring Approach:
My main stand is to convince students that chemistry is interesting, useful and doable at any level.
I always start with a 'getting to know' meeting where I learn about student's expectations and his/her abilities/problems. I show potential students how. I don't charge for this meeting.
For students who are retaking the exam, the main approach is going through exam papers. I make a PowerPoint file with exam questions, student's answers and mark scheme answers. In a lesson, we compare and see where marks are lost and why. In this way, we address the lack of knowledge, understanding and learn exam technique.
With students who want tutoring as soon as they start A-level chemistry, I support work done in school in terms of more explanations and additional examples, help with homework and advice about practical work. For this work, I use questions from all exam boards, materials from Chemsheets and Knockhardy, Roger Frost Organic Chemistry simulations, Exampro collections of questions from exam papers for AQA, OCRA, OCR B, Edexcel, Nuffield and IB, YouTube videos on chemistry experiments and Zig Zag Education papers for AQA and OCR A
To all students, I email materials needed for lessons, so access to a PC and the Internet is essential.
The price for A-Level Chemistry at my home is £30 per session. The session is a minimum of one hour long.
I offer online lessons using the Zoom platform. Online lessons may last 90 min for the price of £30.
