Personal Description:
Hello, I am a very friendly and outgoing 23 year old man from Aberdeen. I am a recent law graduate and have a record of good academic achievement. I am friendly, patient and have an organised goal-orientated approach. In my spare time away from university I play 5-aside football and enjoy playing squash.
Teaching Experience:
I have assisted some family friends in Higher English and Higher Modern Studies. Furthermore I am accustomed to helping young people with their studies because I have a nephew who is of secondary school age. Although I may not have vast experience, I bring a determined and pragmatic approach to gaining the best results for my students whilst maintaining a sense of enjoyment.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to gain a friendly rapport with my pupils and then assess exactly what they need help with. This would involve looking over the objectives and deadlines of the course involved and formulating a plan with the student. I would then assess the students strengths/weaknesses and anxieties to determine where our initial focus would lie.
