Friendly, approachable and patient with an adaptable/ flexible tutoring style catering for individual student needs.
Teaching Experience:
12yrs + tutoring of all age groups on a one-to-one private tuition basis and experience of college and university lecturing and small group tuition. Have also worked with adults.
Subjects taught include:
Primary - maths, english, verbal reasoning [entrance test preparation, 11+]
Secondary - science [biology, chemistry, physics], maths
GCSE and iGCSE - science [biology, chemistry, physics], PE [physical education], maths.
A level - AS and A2 biology and chemistry.
Other - adult numeracy for general help, assessment tests etc
Tutoring Approach:
Particular focus is on exam technique and practice for those requiring SATS, common entrance, entrance exam test, eleven plus (11+), GCSE, iGCSE and A level (AS and A2) tuition. Many past/current students would provide a personal recommendation and report that their confidence and grades have improved as a result of the tuition.
