Information About Ali:

Personal Description:

Hello!

I'm Ali. I am an enthusiastic, interesting and interested graduate from the University of Bristol. I am passionate about the knowledge that I have and all that I learn; I hope to soon become a qualified teacher.

I have a degree in maths and physics (during which I spend a year studying physics in France) and a Masters in the history and philosophy of science, also from Bristol. I really know how to get people interested and thinking about these subjects.

Having lived in Luxembourg and France, I am fluent in French (in addition to English).

Teaching Experience:

I have tutored children from the ages of 11-16 with good results.
I am currently a Teaching Assistant in London

Tutoring Approach:

Tutoring is the perfect setting to get to know the student and understand the methods that work best for them. The subjects that I teach are often ones in which children struggle for a number of reasons. Due to the nature of science related subjects, if a student falls behind or fails to understand a key concept, it is often difficult to catch up again. Another issue may be that the student is not sufficiently interested in the subject; I am engaging and can inject fun and interesting examples into the equation.
