Yacine - Hanwell tutor
Information About Yacine:
Personal Description:
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures and traditions. I have a number of friends from different racial and social classes. I am greatly fascinated by novels such as the Kite Runner which helps me mentally interact with the message the author is trying to pursue as well as improve my comprehension, independence and fluency. I am a creative person and I like creating and recording music in my free time as well as a very athletic individual who has previously participated in both the football and boxing teams in school. I have developed good team working skills as a result of taking part in these sports. I regularly teach kids/students locally in Maths/English voluntarily which has greatly improved my teaching skills and confidence. I regularly go to the gym at least four times a week as it allows me to push myself and work hard for my goals.
Teaching Experience:
I have previously taught young people for the past four years in multiple levels of Maths/English.
Several students had previously obtained an A in GCSE/A-level Maths.
Currently working within a study center and school.
Tutoring Approach:
+ Identify weaknesses/strengths with an introductory test for new students I made based on the Syllabus taught.
+ Prepare lessons beforehand.
+ Make sure the initial target will be met (e.g. Complete an entire chapter).
+ Create examples first then attempt exercise questions.
+ Prepare a few class tests based on progress made at specific points.
+ Once the book is completed, we will attempt past papers to eliminate any weaknesses and maximize marks.
+ Homework will be set and expected to be done in the student's own time.
