Personal Description:
I`m currently an A-Level Economics teacher at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW). I have previously also taught A-Level Economics at University College School (UCS) in Hampstead. I have also been privately tutoring Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics and Statistics to A-Level and University Level students since the past 10 years. My students have always achieved outstanding results and I believe I have the skills required to bring out the best in my students.
The students I teach come from a range of top universities - some of which include: the University of Cambridge, LSE, Royal Holloway, University College London, University of Bristol, Regents Business School, University of Edinburgh, King's College London, University of Warwick, University of Bath, University of Manchester, University of Leeds, CAS Business School and the University of Westminster.
Many of the A-Level students I work with attend University College School, South Hampstead High School, Brampton College, North London Grammar School, Merchant Taylors' School, North London Collegiate School, City of London and Highgate College.
Teaching Experience:
I also mentor students facing difficulties in terms of selecting modules to study at university level and guide them during exam preparations. Additionally, I tutor students studying foundation degrees in order to assist them in achieving the grades required for universities they aspire to join. For students that face learning difficulties such as dyslexia, I create specialised, targeted programmes to enhance their ability to learn more efficiently. I have also taught Economics to students at Oxford Summer Courses this year.
I teach full-time throughout the week from 9am until 9pm as well as over the weekends. I provide a free consultation meeting for all my prospective clients. My primary focus is to motivate students to work on their critical thinking skills in order to help them broaden their horizons and achieve their potential.
Tutoring Approach:
I have always possessed a passion for working with young people, focusing on discussing their individual goals in order to be the window through which many young people will see their future. I focus on motivating my students by using creative and inspirational methods of teaching. What makes me stand out from the rest of the crowd is my different approach in teaching because of which students enjoy my classes and seek out to me for new ideas. My goal is not to simply teach students, it more about investing in them with all my effort. I have always believed in helping students in setting realistic goals and assisting them in achieving standards which maximize their potential. I seek ways to branch out my knowledge and passion for teaching. Gaining confidence and trust of my students is essential to me. Therefore, I ensure that I employ teaching techniques which aim at developing a mutual understanding with my students which helps them feel comfortable while seeking my assistance. I am flexible with my teaching methods in order to cater to the particular requirements of every student that I teach. I work towards establishing a rapport with my students, and put in sincere effort in assisting them with their education patiently, in every way possible.
