Personal Description:

I am an experienced teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience at both secondary, college and university levels. I like any work that has to do with teaching and imparting of knowledge to another person, especially the science-related courses such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I hold a B. Sc in Civil Engineering, a Master's degree, and a PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering

Teaching Experience:

 I taught physics, chemistry and mathematics in various secondary schools overseas for over 10 years. I also mentored thousands of students and secondary school teachers on the various practical exercises on physics and chemistry.  I was also one of the Brilliant club tutors who go around schools within the North-East of England to teach students some structured science lessons to encourage them to apply/get into high-ranking schools within the UK and overseas. I can interpret any subject, especially the sciences in such a way that even a child can understand it!

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor my teaching in such a way that it can meet my learner's need. I enjoy teaching from first principles to enable my learners to appreciate the subject the more by having a mastery of the idea behind every topic. At every step, I always solve many examples and ask my learners to attempt some to enable me to know my learner's needs to address them. This approach enables my learners to be more confident and to gain a deeper mastery of the subject. At the end of the whole learning activities,  I take my learners through some likely examination questions to reassure them and build their confidence the more.  Also, I spend some time guiding my learners through their housework and assignments and provide technical guidance when and where the need arises, when they are preparing for exams.
