Information About Christopher:
Personal Description:
I am a British citizen and graduated University in 2000 and am looking to share my enjoyment of learning in academia. I went to university at Worcester University and received a BSc (HONS) Biological degree with associated Environmental Science in May 2000. I then went on to Qualify as a Teacher in 2005 when I received a Certificate in Education from the University of Wolverhampton.
Teaching Experience:
Private and Personal Tutor, Birmingham (2009 - Present) working with children and adults in which I would teach them English, Maths, Science and ICT.
At Baxter College, Kidderminster (2008) working with children teaching them science.
At Engelska Skolan, Stockholm (2007 - 2008) working with children ranging in age from 3 - 16 in which I would teach English.
At Future Skills Dudley (2003 - 2007) working with young adults teaching them basic skills.
Tutoring Approach:
This would vary depending on the age of my pupil. However, I approach all teaching situations with fairness and respect, as it is my job to help them bring out the skills they already possess and improve them. In addition to this, I will provide them with the tools to acquire new skills.
If I can teach a person something and help them understand why it's important for their coursework as well as for their intellectual well-being then I've done my job.
