Information About Richard:

Personal Description:

I am an experienced teacher at primary and tertiary levels. I currently teach international students at INTO University of East Anglia. I have lived and worked both in the UK and Malaysia and really enjoy Malaysian food and culture. I speak a little Chinese and a little Malay.

Teaching Experience:

I started as a school teacher in 1987 and have taught in both primary and special needs schools. I have taught English as a Foreign Language and English for Academic Purposes at the British Council and at university level.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe teaching should be structured and learning should be enjoyable. I also expect students to be motivated and bring a level of commitment to the table! I like students who ask questions as it means that they want to learn!
