Personal Description:

I am a nineteen year old student, living in the West Midlands, with strong values regarding education, I am very trustworthy and reliable, am always punctual and am very passionate about both learning and teaching.



Teaching Experience:

I am currently training to be a teacher at Newman University in Birmingham, where I am studying a degree in Initial Teacher Training with QTS and specialising in English. However, I have subject knowledge in all areas of the curriculum and have developed during my education a number of teaching methods, as well as developing my own style. At A Level I did English, Psychology, Philosophy, ICT and Spanish. I also work for St Johns the Evangelist church as a Sunday School teacher on Sundays. I have done multiple work placements at schools across the West Midlands tutoring.



Tutoring Approach:

I believe that my approach to tutoring is very thorough and comprehensive, I have developed a number of different teaching methods and techniques that can be applied depending on the child, or group of children. In my eyes, education is an extremely important process and should be fun and engaging. In each hour that I teach I will follow a lesson plan that teaches the children a chosen topic(s) and teach them how to apply this knowledge in order for them to process information at a higher level.
