Personal Description:

I am currently teaching in Friern Barnet and am a Primary school teacher, teaching a year 4 class. I have just completed a PGCE in Primary Education. Prior to this I have had a lot of experience in schools, assisting in classes and tutoring two children in years 4 and 5.

I will happily tutor children in Key stage 2 (3,4,5 and 6) in any area of the curriculum you feel they need assistance. I have a number of resources available to me and I am very familiar with the current curriculum.

Teaching Experience:

I have had a lot of experience in teaching.
I have worked at a number of primary schools in the North London area including Foulds School, Crampton Primary (South London), Holly Park and Brooklands Junior. I am currently working at Holly Park Primay School.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in an approach that is tailored to each individual child. I am flexible in how I teach and will apply a teaching method to an area that you believe is important for your child. I will also evaluate your child to see where they are now and what they need to do to get to the next level. I believe education has to be exciting to the child and relevant to them. Therefore my approach to teaching subjects will change depending on whether I am teaching a boy or a girl, and what they like in general.

• BA (Hons) Social Anthropology 2:2
• A Levels. Sociology B, History C, Philosophy (AS) C, Geography D
