Personal Description:
I am currently in my final year of Medicine at King's College London University. I am a reliable, hard-working and approachable individual who believes strongly in the importance of education. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and find it hugely rewarding when I see my tutees achieve their maximum potential.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring informally for three years and have mentored students for the last eight years.
I worked as a teaching assistant in Sibuyile Secondary School, South Africa in 2007 where I taught English, Maths, Science and History.
Tutoring Approach:
I very much believe in active learning and although this varies with every subject, I have generally found that practice makes perfect so I do like to set many exercises for homework and carry out tests at the end of topics to assess the progress we have made. I do try to get my students to think 'outside the box' and hence endeavor to make my lessons as interesting as possible.
