Information About Lianne:
Personal Description:
I am very patient and have worked with children and young people in different ways.
I have a background in working with young people with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. I am fully CRB checked. I like to teach all subject areas within the primary curriculum in a creative way.
In the current situation regarding the corona virus pandemic, I am in a good position to support home learning where needed or deliver my own planned lessons according to the needs of the student. All learning will take place online.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently teaching a KS1 class and have been a qualified teacher for 11 years. I am the Literacy Co-ordinator at school and also have a passion for ICT. Previous to this I gained a a PGCE Primary and BA(Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have also worked as a Residential Social Worker with teenagers with Emotional, Social and Behavioural difficulties. I worked one-to-one with a child with autism for 1 year.
I have tutored children from Y2-Y6 on a one to one basis previously.
Tutoring Approach:
I am relaxed, calm and patient with a good sense of humour. I will quickly be able to assess where your child is at in terms of education and where they need to go next. I will work alongside your child's needs and discuss progression with parents/carers in an honest way. I will use ICT as one of the ways to deliver learning. As I am currently working in education I can use up to date teaching methods and curriculum guidance.
