Information About Laura:
Personal Description:
My name is Laura, I am 24 years of age.
Teaching Experience:
I have a variety of experiences with different types of learners. I originally began teaching as an Outdoor Instructor. During this job I instructed candidates in a multitude of adventurous activities, and also engaged learners through environmental education and geographical study such as river studies. I am currently completing a PGCE at Huddersfield University whereby I am teaching at Horsforth college in the Geography and Outdoor recreation department. I have various skills teaching Sport, Drama, Geography and Outdoor and Adventurous activites. I am now lecturing full time in Watford on a Public Services course.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a fun, enthusiastic and friendly approach to teaching. I find I use my own experiences of teaching and try to recreate an atmopshere and relationship which I feel is successful for learning. I enjoy working with people and because of this I create an effective environment with a student. I am easy to relate to, which I think is most important when teaching.
I will be able to motivate and help any student achieve their goals.
