Personal Description:
I am currently a supply teacher working within the birmingham area. I thoroughly enjoy my profession as it gives me the opportunity to help develop other peoples potential. I enjoy helping others to further their knowledge and try my best to help them suceed in reaching their goals. I believe learning should be interactive and fun and thus pride myself on helping to enthuse learners.
Teaching Experience:
I have been in the teaching profession for 4 years and have worked in many different schools within Birmingham both as a full time and supply teacher. I have experience of working in both primary and secondary schools and have also had some experience of tutoring adults.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is to find out the correct level of the tutee and then to ask what the tutee finds difficult. This then forms the plan of action for the tutee focusing on problem areas while also revisiting other areas to consolidate understanding. My approach is to combine the use of visual and physical materials as well as using ICT to tackle the problems areas from as many different angles.
