At The Waha International School , I have taught Physics and Mathematics for the age group of 11-14.I have also taught Cultural Studies for age groups of 7-17.My responsibilities have involved teaching the above mentioned subjects, preparing appropriate curriculum ,conducting weekly tests ,the setting and correction of examination papers. Apart from this I was also a class teacher for grade 7; the responsibility included integrating results of various subjects, preparing result sheets and arranging extracurricular activities for the students. The school followed a curriculum that is based on the guidelines provided by the National Curriculum of England and Wales. The year I was teaching at Al-Waha, The school was visited and accredited by CITA (The Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation).
Tutoring Approach:
I usually hold a parctical approach towards teaching using analogies to explain concepts. I strongly belive in individual attention as a customised approach to learning makes things easier for the tutee.
