Information About Lewis:


Personal Description:

I am a 24 year old English post-graduate student living in central London, studying to become a solicitor. I previously studied a BA (Hons) in French at Newcastle University, before moving to London. I am also a keen and active musician.



Teaching Experience:

I spent a year teaching English in a secondary school in France, during the 3rd year of my university course, where I taught both small groups of 3 or 4 students, and large classes of up to 32.

I gained experience in teaching pupils of all different standards, and was able to develop a variety of different lesson structures and teaching styles.

I was given training for this by both my university and by the British Council in Lille.



Tutoring Approach:

I aim to bring a friendly and enthusiastic approach to tutoring, whilst adapting and tailoring my methods to suit the tutee's specific needs.

I make my lessons interesting and enjoyable, as I know well from experience that this is the best atmosphere in which to learn.
