Information About Anni:


Personal Description:

I am a working artist in various mediums from watercolours to 3D pieces and am interested in art in all its forms from ancient to contemporary. (Ancient Egypt to Manga!!)
Having recently moved to the Suffolk/ Norfolk borders I am now taking time to work on my own artwork for commission and exhibition.
I enjoy the balance of solitary time walking my dogs around the heaths and forests, with teaching and running art workshops.



Teaching Experience:

I have:
*over 17 years working in the classroom, heritage sites and public sector as a resident artist and social historian.(Excellent references available)
*mentored students of all ages and abilities;
from parent & toddlers groups to MENCAP adults;
from presentation portfolios for college entry to emotional needs therapy sessions;
from private tutoring to special needs units.
*practical experience of the National Curriculum and have run Teachers' inset sessions.
* wide experience in various mediums including oils, watercolour, pencil, pen & ink, textiles, clays, beadwork, printing and modelmaking.



Tutoring Approach:

Patience and encouragement are key to my teaching methods.
An empathy with my students enables me to inspire them to experiment and develop their work.
Building a student's confidence is an aspect I most enjoy as we work together to their goal.
I prefer an informal approach and like to get to know my students so I can best help them.

  • B/TEC NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN ART AND DESIGN
  • LEVEL 2 OCR TEACHING ASSISTANT
  • CERTIFICATE: INTRODUCTION TO SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY
