Information About Daouda:
Personal Description:
I am a national from Cameroon currently studying at the University of Manchester. I lived In Bangladesh for few years and worked as a teacher in two different International schools. I have a very strong background in quantitative subjects and French Language. I am an easy going individual who gets along easily with students and motivate them to study hard and excel in their academic environment. one of my strongest strength is undoubtedly my ability to adapt quickly to any challenging environment. I am also very diligent and flexible because I have worked with kids from different cultural backgrounds and ages. I get along easily with kids because of my strong ability to connect with them from the first time and identify their personal needs and focuss on them while teaching. I love working with kids because It is an amasing satisfaction to teach them and see how they grow and become independent and mature.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught Mathematics,Physics and Computer Science at the French International School in Dhaka for about 2 and half years. during that time i was also providing additional support as a tutor to students who needed additional help at school and home. I have a wide experience tutoring students in quantitative subjects and French. I used to work in private with students from the American International School in Dhaka helping them with their homeworks in different subjects.
My last job was with the British Primary School in Dhaka where I was teaching Computer Science and French. I did enjoy working with kids because It was very challenging and exciting. I did learn a lot throughout that process. I was also very active organising social football between different international Schools in Dhaka. The aim was to promote sporting exchange between schools.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a very simple approach to tutoring. my philosophy is based on individualized teaching. I believe the best way to get the best out of a kid is to work with the him closely, try to identify his strength and weaknesses and eventually develop a proper strategy to motivate him. I always try to review material covered in classes and make sure students understand them properly and eventually provide additional support related to that material. getting constant feedback is very important to make sure students have assimilated topics being covered. I also believe in patience because all kids can not pick up at the same time. It is therefore important to repeat until the student has understood the topic. Finally, I believe learning is also about having fun so I always try to make a tutoring session as fun as possible.
