Personal Description:

I have two children, one at university and one still at school.

Teaching Experience:

6 years as a Teaching assistant with primary age children working 1:1 and in small groups with children. 4 years working as a teacher mostly in KS1 in schools with children of wide abilities, I have also tutored children for basic reading and writing skills and for the Kent Test.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning should be fun, especially if it is additional to school. I would first check what the child can do and then find out any gaps in the children's knowledge. I work with the child's interests to ensure continuous learning.
