Personal Description:

I have a natural talent in developing people, and recognise that in order to get the most from someone you need to unlock their hidden potential. I can do this, and I have a proven track record. I have more than a dozen NVQs and I am expanding my abilities by returning to college to develop myself as a teacher.

It is my aim to be in teaching within the next 3 years (by 2012).

Teaching Experience:

I have been involved in training in one form or another over the past twenty years. My skills within the workplace around developing other members of staff has allowed me to train many successful applicants. I was properly trained in 1992 by a company called Riverside Training in Cornwall. I have trained staff in one to one and in group activities, working from sole traders up to corporate organisations (eg. BT and DSGi).

I now run my own company in Taunton, ByteMe, and I am currently refreshing my teaching with PTLLS and A1, with a view of developing people from all walks of life, giving them the opportunity to be able to harness their abilities within their chosen subject.

Tutoring Approach:

Much of what I do includes understanding the person I am tutoring and identify the strengths and weaknesses of that individual and build their confidence and temper their knowledge to allow them the ability to see within themselves their capacity.
