Personal Description:
I am a laid back person who has very high expectations of his pupils. I will work very hard to ensure they understand the work and in turn I expect them to work hard and complete all tasks I set for them. I am passionate about mathematics and I do my best to make this apparent to pupils.
Teaching Experience:
I am currently Head of Mathematics in a secondary school in NW London and over 5 years teaching experience. I have taught all key stages and have produced excellent results in GCSE Maths, Additional Mathematics. A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I have full responsibility for A-level Maths in my school and our results are outstanding with 80% of students gaining grades A*-B in A2 Maths.
Tutoring Approach:
I look at the needs of the pupil and tailor the work accordingly. I have high expectations and will work very hard to ensure pupil understands the work and works very hard towards gaining good results. I test pupils frequently and keep a record of test results to measure pupil progresss and see what else is needed to improve.
