Information About Catherine:
Personal Description:
I am a practising Art & Design teacher working in the Reading area. I have a vast subject knowledge and a wide variety of art skills to share with my tutees. Art is a passion of mine and I am always enthusiastic about sharing my expertise and also keen to learn new skills myself.
Teaching Experience:
I am qualified in Secondary education as an art and design teacher and can also teach a number of technology and craft subjects. Having taught in secondary schools for several years I am now working in a preparatory school with pupils in years 2-8. I also run holiday art workshops for children.
Tutoring Approach:
Every lesson is built around the individual needs of the tutee. The aim is for us to work together in a comfortable environment to enable each student to produce the best posibe work. Depending on the age range of the student different approaches will be necessary and i am willing to conduct extra research in my own time for example to help with teh development of GCSE and A-level projects.
