Personal Description:

I am a student at Leeds Metropolotan University, starting my second year on a coaching degree. I am friendly and approachable as well as patient and motivating. Through my course at uni i spend alot of time with younger children than myself, understanding how to communicate efficiently with them.



Teaching Experience:

I worked in a school for 1 Term as part of work expirience. This gave me a chance to intereact with children of varying ages, and to understand how the teachers work efficiently with the kids to guide their understanding. I have also helped tutor my parents friends' children on regular occasions. Doing a coaching degree has taught me many things about the approach to teaching - what methods are most beneficial and how information can be retained.



Tutoring Approach:

Patience and a good relationship with the student is my main priority. They must feel comfortable around their tutor or they wont be able torelax and start learning. I always try and come across as friendly and approachable, so the student is never afraid to ask questions. I will assess their learning style, and from this develop a strategy that will ensure maximum retantion of information.
