Information About Jennifer:
Personal Description:
My name is Jennifer. I am a 22-year-old Medical Student living in the centre of Brighton, East Sussex. Because of my degree I have an excellent knowledge of human biology, however I am also very familiar with other areas of biological sciences. I've also always had an enthusiasm for English Literature.
Teaching Experience:
I have no formal training in teaching. I am familiar with the tutoring system and have found a set-up which I consider most comfortable for the tutor and the student when I was being tutored myself. I am also a keen participant in our peer-to-peer teaching scheme at uni which works very well.
Tutoring Approach:
Whatever the student finds suitable for them. I find a relaxed atmosphere best. I will familiarise myself with the student's curriculum and exam board as much as possible prior to our first meeting, and will bring aids to sessions if I can. As for the format and content of the teaching, that is completely up to the tutee - whether they would like to go through problems that are specific to them, or just do an overview of the whole subject, all suggestions are welcome.
