Information About Joanna:
Personal Description:
I am just coming to the end of my first year studying LLB Law with Criminal Justice at Bangor University, North Wales. I studied English, Sociology, Psychology and Law at A Level, passing all with high grades, and got all A's and B's in 10 GCSE's as well.
Teaching Experience:
I have not had any professional teaching experience, but did do work experience over the summer working in a school, helping individuals on a one to one basis. I have been a mentor to teenagers before as well, advising on homework and coursework for high school and college level.
Tutoring Approach:
I myself used to struggle with confidence, especially when it came to believing i could do well with my work. I believe a tutor should be able to help you see that you can achieve, expecially when its clear you have the talent to do it. i have often been told i would make a good teacher, because im patient and will sit for as long as necessary to help someone if they need it. I have a very good work ethic myself, often juggling so many different things at once; during college, i was in college for 7 hours, then work for 4 hours after, and then did coursework when i got home0 every single day. in the past i have found this determination to succeed has rubbed off on tutees.
