Personal Description:
I am a Cambridge Graduate in Chemistry, with long experience teaching Science and ICT, now semi-retired. I lived and worked in France for 15 years and have a diploma in French language.
Teaching Experience:
I have around 15 years experience teaching Science to GCSE and Chemistry to A-level and six years teaching ICT to A-level. I am an examiner for Science GCSE and ICT A-level. I also have taught French in Adult Community Education. I have been a tutor for three years, and have helped students raise their achievement significantly.
Tutoring Approach:
We will explore together your needs - revision? question answering? understanding key ideas? We will use a variety of approaches to address these needs, and keep working on them until you are feeling more comfortable. We will explore exam techniques and memory aids to help achieve that elusive target!
