Personal Description:
I am interested in inspiring the people I work with and thoroughly enjoy both learning and teaching. I believe in lifelong learning and self development. Learning should be engaging and doesn't need to feel like hard work- I think it all depends on your approach!
Teaching Experience:
I have experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language in South Korea and also worked for a local council for 2 years teaching Adults numeracy. I have experience of working with different ages and levels.
I only teach GCSE Maths and English up to Foundation level.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in nurturing natural ability and also opening up learning to those who find education challenging.
My approach to tutoring incorporates communicating ideas in their simplest form that in turn ensures understanding. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where the methods are adapted to the needs of my tutees.The success of my students is of utmost importance and thus my aim is to facilitate learning in any way that i can.
