Personal Description:

I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 13 years teaching experience. I have worked in primary schools teaching key stage two and also in higher education.



Teaching Experience:

8 years teaching key stage two - all subjects covered.
5 years teaching ICT at University level.

I have done personal tuition for many years now, predominately Key Stage 2 SATs support and 11+ entrance exams.



Tutoring Approach:

I am friendly and approachable, when working with children outside of the classroom I try to make them feel much more confident and relaxed. I have had much success with children using this approach.

My initial visit to your home will be to assess your child, on order to produce and individualised learning plan for them.

I also offfer group tutoring in my own home at £10 per hour per child for groups of 2-6 children for Heckmondwike and North Halifax Grammar School entrance exams.
