Information About Parwez:
Personal Description:
My main subject area is Design and Technology which I am currently teaching in an Independent school. I am always available to help and monitor my students' progress, provide 1 to 1 support to students as and when needed so as to promote learning and progression. I always work in close collaboration with parents so as to better support my students and raise the level of achievement. I am a native bilingual with French and English.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 1998, when I started my Certificate in Teaching course. I have worked as an Art and Design, Maths and PE teacher since 1999 to 2004. I completed my Masters Degree followed by a PGCE in Design and Technology so as to enhance my overall skills.
I am currently teaching Design and Technology and helping out some young people with their Maths, French and English GCSE.
I have taught French at KS3, and all my students went on to do very well at GCSE level, and some are currently studying French at A level. I am a the moment tutoring French at GCSE and KS3 level.
Tutoring Approach:
My previous tutoring experiences has helped me better understand the need of students as each child/student differ. I apply myself to understand the leanig style and the. provide a great deal of support and extension work where needed for the development and improvement of the students.
Learning is a persoanl experience and building on existing knowledge is always primordial. The use activity-based learning and life experience enhances the learning process for students.
