Personal Description:
Since a young age, I have always had a passion for maths. Over the years, I have derived great satisfaction in passing this passion and knowledge on to others. Educated to Masters level in Engineering and with many years experience as a Structural Engineer, I have a technical and analytical mind. This has always enabled me to pass on the most basic and also advanced mathematics to young and older students alike enabling them to fully grasp the concepts and appreciate the manner in which they may be used practically.
I am enthusiastic, dedicated and professional and like to inject a sense of fun in my lessons. I will patiently encourage students until they excel and I get along very well with all age groups.
Tutoring Experience: More than 10 years experience in teaching Mathematics up to AS/A2 level
Tutoring Approach: I engage and motivate the student with interesting problems. Focus on exam technique. Use a common sense approach. When explaining a topic I use different approaches (visual, auditive, logical) and help student with tricks and techniques to memorise what is needed to memorise.
