Personal Description:
I am a Chinese from Hong Kong. I am holding a Bachelor degree of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Chinese Language Subject Knowledge for Graduate Teachers. In addition, I am a qualified teacher in the UK. I have always been passionate about languages. I believe that attaining the ability to communicate in a language other than ones own mother tongue is an extremely valuable and important asset and it is these sentiments that I hope to share with my pupils.
Teaching Experience:
I was a qualified teacher in Hong Kong with more than 10 years teaching experience in a government school. I also possess the qualification of QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK. At the moment, I am teaching GCSE class in a Chinese school in Harrow as well as some private tuitions.
Tutoring Approach:
Learning language can be divided into 4 areas: writing, speaking, reading and listening. Therefore I will focus on each area with different activities. Apart from basic and typical teaching materials, role play, games and pair work are also very useful in learning foreign language.
