Molly - Dulwich tutor
Information About Molly:
Personal Description:
I graduated from the University of Sussex in 2008 with a first. Having enjoyed my time in education and achieving top results I feel that I would like to help others do the same and so I am turning to tutoring.
I am intelligent, creative and compassionate and I think I will be able to help pupils become more confident in the subject they are struggling with, have more fun with it and feel prepared for their exams.
In my spare time I sew and knit (which I am also happy to teach!) and have just started playing the ukulele.
Teaching Experience:
I do not have any teaching experience in an official capacity but I have taught many of my friends to knit and also helped my younger sister when she found her homework difficult. I have also assisted my friends with editing essays and CVs and in preparing for job interviews.
Tutoring Approach:
I think the process should be student-led and will establish with my pupils where their strengths and weaknesses lie, what they are finding difficult and what they want to achieve. I hope to ensure my pupils thoroughly understand the concepts they are grappling with as well as being ready for an exam. I know what it is like to have a crisis of confidence over a school subject and will endeavour to restore the student's faith in themselves and help them to enjoy overcoming obstacles and improving their results.
