Personal Description:
Hi there.
My name is Andria, and I am a postgraduate student at Queen's. I currently specialize in the science side of audio and music technology. I have a university background in engineering, computer science, media, German and English.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored students in each subject listed above, frequently run study groups within my department, and have experience working with special needs students.
Tutoring Approach:
I firmly believe tutoring should be an interactive process. There is a difference between stating information and explaining it. I am a very visual learner, and tend to tutor in the same way I learn, using diagrams, images, and examples. I also believe that getting someone to learn involves catching and keeping their interest, so I do my best to make the work enjoyable.
