Personal Description:
I am an experienced Headteacher with 9 years experience leading private co-ed Primary and Secondary day schools in the Middle East. I have taught Geography at every level in particular at GCSE /IGCSE/ AS and A2 level. As a Senior Lecturer in Science I also have experience teaching BTEC Science Courses and Access Programmes. I also have experience as an AQA Geography GCE examiner and coursework moderator for GCSE.
Teaching Experience:
I have 15 years experience teaching Geography in main stream Secondary schools following teh National Curriculum of England and Wales. I have privately tutored over 40 IGCSE/ GCSE/GCE students to exam success. I an able to provide tailored intensive revison coourses and guidance on how to structure answers and plan revision.
Tutoring Approach:
The programme i offer begins with a SWOT analysis identifying your arteas of knowledge and understanding then drawing up an action plan of topics to review in detail. Focus is given to study skills, exam technique, intrpreting questions and of course instruction on reas needing review.
My apprioach is informal yet focussed and with continuous assessment for learning.
