Personal Description:
I am a very experienced tutor, having taught over 30 children privately for the last for four years, of varying ability and ages. I am very friendly and build strong relationships with children quickly, making learning fun but also effective. I have a degree with First Class honours in Business Management and Finance and I have done a year of a maths degree also. I love helping people fulfill their potential and through tutoring I am able to do this to a very high level in maths, english or science, up to GCSE level.
Teaching Experience:
I have been tutoring children from the ages of 6-22 for the past 6 years, all of various abilities and working towards different exam levels. I tutored a class of 11+ students for 18 months before becoming a private tutor across many ages. I endeavour to get children to reach their full potential and meet or often exceed their academic targets.
Tutoring Approach:
As someone who has a deep understanding of mathematics, I know that there is more than one way to solve problems and I am able to adapt my teaching style and methods for the benefit of each individual pupil to help them reach the standard that they want to in maths and science. It is important to make learning fun, so that information is retained, and this is one of my key priorities.
